Privacy policy

This service is run by Ham Boardman for his family's own use. It is not offered to the public.

What it accesses

When a family member connects a Gmail mailbox, Google asks them to grant read access (gmail.readonly) and, for mailboxes set up for drafting, the ability to create drafts and change labels (gmail.modify). The service never requests permission to send mail, and contains no code that sends mail.

What it stores

• The mailbox's email address, the alias it is known by, and who may use it.
• The Google refresh token, encrypted with AES-GCM. Access tokens are held in memory only and never stored.
• An audit log of every request: who asked, which tool, which mailbox, and whether it was allowed. Message contents are not stored.

How it is used

Mail is read only when a family member with a grant on that mailbox asks for it, and the result goes back to that person's own Claude session. Data from Google APIs is not sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Revoke the app at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or ask the operator to delete the mailbox and its stored token.
